be making out. The mileage has not gone up on the car, but sitting for 3 years without being started can't be good either. He could look at it as nothing lost nothing gained. He has his money back, you have your car back. But I do agree with Carlos, there is definetly going to be maintainence which needs to be done, so you could start lower, realizing you may get back up to what you sold it for.
